ok so im scared that i will or could get the swine flu i have been sanitizing my hand every time i touch something or someone or anything and im scared that it could kill me i only weigh 83 pounds but im 19 years old and i always get the flu so im scared i will get it and im scared that it could kill me can it? if im that tinyp.s im not anorexic or anemic im just tiny like my mom and dad was when they was young and high metabolism

Hi im going on holiday in Fuerteventura on wednesday and ive just found out my friend has swine flu. I saw her last monday. I have asthma and am 18.I just have a few questions 1 If i caught swine flu from my friend a week ago when would i start showing symptoms?2 If i get swine flu in fuerteventura do they have enough tamiflu and what would happen?I know if your going to get swine flu your going to get it i just dont want it on holiday lolThanks

I just answered a question on the swine flu. So many of the yahoo answers community insists there is a cure for the common flu... The closest thing is a vaccine, and last year the vaccine was entirely ineffective, thus the flu epidemic of last year. Antibiotics do not work against viruses. Also, Tamiflu is the drug that the Govt. has for millions of people who come down with it. Do any of you disagree with what I am saying? If so, get a book, look up on google to cross reference it has spell check for you, or ask someone who isnt an idiot. ???

my 13 year old girl said she didn't feel well last night and went to bed early, she had diarrhea,headache,high temp, and generally unwell, she was awake most of the night and i sat with her, this morning i rang NHS direct but could not get through so i rang my own doctors who went through a check list and the receptionist said she has swine flu, how can they diagnose this without seeing her? im worried as i have 3 other children one who has epilepsy and a son who has chronic asthma, his lungs never developed as a baby he had pneumonia im so worried if he gets it do i send him away? or is it to late for that? im not getting any advice everyone is to busy and i cant get through to anyone,im just sat her waiting for the chemist to phone so i can get the medication for my daughter anyone who has any more information or has suffered this flu please help.thank you.

My boyfriend went to the doctor today & he was diagnosed with the swine flu. The doctor gave him a prescription, but every pharmacy in our town is out of medicine for the swine flu. Even when the medicine does come in, after what insurance covers, they can't afford it. Is there anything I can do for him. Are there any over the counter medicines or remedy that will work the same?He'd been complaining for a week now, saying he felt sick, but two nights ago he started to show symptoms. With or without medicine how long until he recovers & when is it safe to be around him again? Also & most importantly, he won't die, will he?Thanks.

Swine flu has killed over 200 people so far.So, you can ask me or should i say my mom the health questions. I might know a little bit. I'm learning.
