I have H1N1 Swine flu and I have pet birds, Do I need to be worried about bird flu?
Any chance that my pet birds can pick up my flu and then through some mutation or something develop the bird flu strain that they could potentially pass down to us or kill themselves?ThanksFurtheremore, what if it was just the normal human flu and not the H1N1? I was swimming in the pool in my backyard this weekend because it was hot. However, ducks had been coming to my backyard to swim in the pool and drink water. Sometimes, they would leave droppings in the pool, and i swam in a pool with duck droppings. Today, i woke up with a sore throat, and now i feel like i have a mild fever. Do i have the bird flu, or any type of flu? I have graduation next week, so i dont want to be sick.

i killed my 1st bird with my bb gun earlier at 7 pm, it is now 8 pm,i ran over to it and i didnt know what to do, so i grabbed a shovel, dug a hole,i ran back over to the bird, i didnt touch it but i scooped it with a shuvel and buried it. no contact to me only the shovel will i die? do i have bird flu? i feel very warm, and i read and read and it says diarhea is a sign and i dont know what to do, can i get the bird flu from close contact, but none? the bird was like 4 feet away at all times... can the virus jump onto things close to me?
